Bergkloster
Jason Groebe from the small town of Westhofen in Rheinhessen is the first German winemaker in our portfolio. He's currently in the process of taking over their family winery, which is low intervention from 2018, but their 8ha of vineyards have been organically maintained since 2004. Jason is the 5th generation of Bergkloster winery and he had to persuade his family to change their style. He wants to take their wines as close to nature as possible, so no additives and no sulphites are used in the process, making their wines elegant, fresh but with distinct acidity.
