Riesling from Němčičky in its truly original expression, sure to captivate any lover of orange wines. The destemmed grapes were macerated for two weeks, followed by spontaneous fermentation and nearly two years of ageing in acacia and oak barrels. On the nose, it opens with a spicy aroma of apricot jam and warm spices. The palate moves towards dried stone fruits, nuts, and a delicate yet clearly defined mineral streak. The finish lingers with notes of black tea and fine tannins, which will continue to soften and integrate with further bottle ageing. In short, macerated Riesling is a rare find – and one well worth tasting.
